six missings yo's.

I'm usually pretty good at lace. I don't make mistakes because I'm a counter by nature. I always count when I knit, so lace tends to be easy for me to get right. However, a few nights ago, I managed to mess up a row so badly, I must have been half asleep. I missed not one, not two, not three but SIX yarn overs in ONE ROW!!! Oh my goodness, how did that happen? I've never missed a single yo! Luckily I noticed pretty quickly on the next knit row when nothing was lining up. However, this still means I have to unravel two lacey rows which in my experience will likely be a full night's work.

This shawl is looking more and more like a lengthy, lengthy project ... I am dreading the unraveling ...
